My family's website, Mabry Living, is a window into our crazy lives. On the surface we may look like an ordinary family who has it all together. We are anything but ordinary and we certainly do not have it all together. The purpose of Mabry Living is to give you a glimpse into the unrelenting, quirky, “No way that just happened!” kinds of things our family encounters on a daily basis. Our hope is to make you laugh and inspire you to be who God made you, not who everyone else wants you to be. You think our families don’t cringe every time we put out a new ridiculously obnoxious post or video? Well, they do. But we don’t care. This is who we are.

Our journey to where we are today has been one of both tragedy and triumph.  John lost his leg and saw one of his friends die in a car accident. Then we lost John’s brother to an unexpected death. We have struggled through years of addiction issues, job losses and a marriage that has barley survived these and other obstacles we have been faced with.  But through it all we have experienced some amazing highs that we try to focus on over the bad events.

We hope to inspire you to take a more realistic, simpler approach to life in today’s chaotic world. Here you will find motivating tidbits, hilarious antics, common sense advice on improving physical and emotional health, and creative activities that promote quality family time.
